Jennifer Finnigan, Close to Home star, played Annabeth Chase, and Scott Caudill had the pleasure of starring across from her in episode eight of season one of Close to Home  entitled “Under Threat”.

“Under Threat” – episode 8, season 1 of “Close to Home” tells the story of a carjacker who uses a gun and carjacks a woman, taking her baby. As the story unfolds, the carjacker is identified as a gang leader who already has two strikes against him. The carjacker is caught and  Annabeth (Jennifer Finnigan) and Maureen (Kimberly Elise) have two days to prepare to try him for carjacking and kidnapping.

The key witness in the case is identified by the gang and gunned down. It’s no surprise that after the incident he is reluctant to testify. Things only get worse when a bullet is placed in Annabeth’s daughter’s hand as a direct threat to Annabeth.

As the case unfolds, Annabeth and Maureen realize that the only option they have is to discredit the defense’s only witness – a member of the suspect’s gang.

“Close to Home”

Close To Home is a crime drama series co-produced by Jerry Bruckheimer Television and Warner Brothers Television. Close to Home tells the story of  the dark underbelly of suburbia and a female prosecutor and female attorney who are determined to solve every crime that comes their way and clear up their neighborhood. The show aired from October 4, 2005 to May 11, 2007 and in addition to Jennifer Finnigan, the show starred:
